Mrs. Brammer's New- 1st Quarter

                                                                                    1st Quarter Letter to Families

Dear Animas Valley Community,

This fall has been full of sunshine and crisp cool mornings.  The vibrant colors and smell of fall are a welcome change.

We continue to have much to be grateful for here at Animas Valley.  The amazing staff that is committed to our students and the vivacious children that enter the doors each day are at the top of my list.  The students at AVE are our future.  They are the life focus for many of us and inspire us to be a good example for them to follow.  The challenges they bring are an opportunity to discover our own personal strengths and problem-solving skills we never knew we had.  Kids find joy and wonder in every day ordinary things, and their excitement helps us see the world differently.  I love hearing their unbridled laughter throughout the school and watching them grow in perseverance.   I am grateful every day for the opportunity to work with each staff member and I know your children are in good hands with them.  Finally, I am thankful for our supportive parents and community, with a giving and engaged PTO at the forefront, to which we all say thank you for all that you to do to make AVE a special place.

With the end of fall and the start of winter comes the drop in temperatures.  We ask that you please make sure your children are prepared for the colder weather. If you are missing coats, hats, gloves, or other items please check the lost and found table.

We invite you to become more connected to AVE.  If you are not receiving our weekly Husky Howler please stop by the office so we can update your contact information.

Thank you for entrusting your children to all of us at AVE.  May your fall be amazing!

See you soon!

Michol Brammer
