Dear Animas Valley Community,
“Change” is in the air as the days are beginning to become warmer and the trees are starting to bud. Our students’ are full excitement and anticipation of the fast approaching summer break, while teachers are savoring the remaining weeks with this amazing group of students. The final weeks of school will be full of innovative, educational learning engagements.
This month we are continuing with CMAS testing in 4th and 5th grade and will be wrapping up at the end of the month. Thank you to all of our staff, students, and families for your support and cooperation during CMAS testing. This data is critical to our school to inform instruction for all students and provides students and families with an additional data point on how each child is doing relative to other students across the state.
As we approach the end of the school year please continue to read the Husky Howler for upcoming events and important information.
I hope you have a wonderful end of the 2018-2019 school year. Thank you for sharing your children with me this year. I have truly enjoyed watching them grow and learn.
