Animas Valley Elementary will host our annual Fall Carnival on Friday, October 20th from 5:30-7:30pm. We'll have lots of family fun and great opportunities to raise funds for the school. There is still time to purchase tickets and to get involved.

Animas Valley Book Fair

Hooray! The Book Fair is on its way! It will be in the AVE Library starting Monday, October 16th through Friday, October 20th! Shopping hours are Monday - 9:15-10:15 and after school, Tuesday through Thursday - before, during and after school. It will also be open during the Fall Carnival on Friday the 20th.

Fall into Green Team!

Animas Valley School is ready to put our garden to rest with your help. Joining the Green Team means we’ll work with our classmates and teachers to clean out our garden beds, put new amendments into our soil, plant seeds, water beds, weed, and help grow beautiful crops, plants and flowers.

Seeking Applicants - Personalized Competency Based Learning Team

An action in this year’s Teaching and Learning Plan is to convene a Personalized Competency Based Learning (PCBL) Team. As the district continues to evolved its instructional practices to support personalized learning based on individual competency, it is critical to have parents and our community involved in this process.  To that end, we are seeking representatives of each school and stakeholder group.
