History Comes Alive at Animas Valley

The exhibits were centered around the following topics:

The students presented influential Coloradans like Dr. Justina Ford the first licensed African American female doctor in Denver, Colorado, medical scientist Florence Sabin, industrialist and philanthropist General William Jackson Palmer, and Stephen Harriman Long an army explorer, topographical engineer, and railway engineer.
