We offer full time positions with benefits as well as flexible positions. Note, individuals do not have to have a college degree in order to serve in this role – candidates can hold a 1-year Colorado Substitute License with documentation of completion of one year of post-secondary education.

Dear Families,
Thank you for entrusting us with your students this school year and for your support and patience. It has been a wonderful start to the year even with the COVID precautions we have had to implement.

This year, we anticipate fewer quarantines, due to the population-based approach and masking. Students who are absent will follow the attendance policy, making up work when they return unless the teacher plans otherwise. (This applies even if the student is in isolation or a quarantined determined by San Juan Basin Public Health) . We will not conduct live teaching or Zooming into classrooms during absences as was done during quarantines in the 20-21 school year.

This year, Durango School District 9-R will provide breakfast and lunch to all students free of charge, regardless of the child’s free or reduced-price meal benefit status.

With less than a month before school begins, we wanted to remind families, both new and existing, to complete registration for their student(s) on InfiniteCampus.
